I'M UP! HOW ABOUT YOU?

We just celebrated Easter / Resurrection Sunday on the 16th. We celebrate that Jesus rose from the dead. He got UP! What a celebration it IS; Knowing that our Saviour lives.

So if you look at your life are you up? Have you risen to the challenges of this life we have been given? Or are you walking around in the "mummy state"? Just barely making it through another day; not realizing that you can make changes and increase your joy; Increase your happiness; Readjust the negative areas of your life and turn it into positive areas.

I am truly an optimistic person; meaning: to take a favorable view of events or conditions and to expect the most favorable outcome; I am truly NOT a pessimist, meaning: the tendency to expect only bad outcomes; gloomy; joyless; unhopeful. I like to, as an old saying goes, look at my cup as being half full. I know some people whose cup is always half empty. I told one of them I was going to add to their cup to keep it from being half empty, so they would only be able to look at it as being almost full.

There may always be some area in your life that you want to change; upgrade; delete; remove; make better; and realizing that sometimes it “just is what it is” can be frustrating. So maybe you can try looking at it in a different way. Most often it could be better; but could it be worse? If so, then be thankful that is it not. Rise to the occasion of YOUR life and remember to keep a positive outlook on it. It is YOURS! You might as well enjoy it. Do what you can and thank God for the rest! Then you will see that once you have been UP for a while you have / can thank Him for everything. Jesus got UP! Will you?
